Dr. Bodo obtained his medical degree from the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine located in Cleveland, OH. He went on to complete a three-year podiatric surgical residency at Sisters of Charity Hospital/Catholic health, in Buffalo, New York, where he was a Co-chief resident in his final year. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology, with minors in Algebra, and Physics at the University of Maine at Fort Kent.
After his residency, he joined a private practice in Buffalo, NY, while there, he became a teaching faculty for the Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program at Sisters of Charity Hospital, in Buffalo, NY, a well -rounded program with an emphasis on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, limb salvage and acute care. With the great opportunity to educate and help guide the newest podiatric graduates in their journey, until returning to Maine, in 2020.
He has been a member of the Exam Certification Committee, of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is the State of Maine liaison for the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Bodo is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
